Proper “motivation” (involving coffee and a whisk – don’t ask) was administered and Codex managed to pull this one out old school. This is the scanned original drawing, which we normally don’t have because everything is digital now. Kids these days.
Color version should be incoming later today or tomorrow, depending on how much more “motivation” is required.

Except that it scans poorly, you can’t really make sprites and if you suddenly need to re-jigger a panel to make a dialogue change you have to re-draw it.
And also, even with the “new” (as of 2 years ago) scanner, I can’t get a clean scan of either pencils or pen-and-ink drawings.
I think, when I can sit at the computer for longer I’ll do a Wednesday Miscellany post on the process.
