We had to date him to “old”. He might be older. For our international readers, Americans believe anything older than 1960 is old. Maybe 1950. Maybe 1900. Look, I walked the graveyards of England with tombstones dating back to the 1300s and those weren’t considered “that old” so “old” varies.
