PerkinElmer is an older “high tech” company. They used to (maybe still do) run ads in some magazine(s) that read, “What do NASA and PerkinElmer have in common? Spacecraft.”
Peerkin-Elmer could not produce a multimeter with enough simultaneous scales to measure their levels of dysfunction. As a minimum: DC, AC, K, Mag-Cal, squirrel, i, squirrel, celluloid, blither, squirrel.

Lewis responded, “It’s totally a mob. Without a doubt. There’s no other word for it!”
“Matt, Matt — a mob,” the CNN host said. “Stop. Stop. A mob is what we saw in Charlottesville, Va., two Augusts ago.”
She continued, asking her guests to move past the “m-word.” She wasn’t trying to be funny.
Yep. We’d been scheduled for a CNN appearance on Tuesday. They called yesterday afternoon and canceled for us. My favorite problems are ones that solve themselves!
Sigh. R. Lee Ermey is gone, and we have only one Kratman. Either one would simply *look*, and the blather would auto-reduce out of fear. Other supremely high resistance shunts are in short supply. Maybe the Supreme Dark Lord can spare enough un-silvered skulls to use instead.

If it’s like an ammeter, I suspect the shunt might vaporize, unless it’s a VERY rugged high-blather tolerant device.
