Hey now! Oh wait, I’m not of “unusual” size. Hrm, and neither am I herbivore, really. Never mind.
However, now I envision Herbivores Of Unusual Size, Enormous (HOUSEs) that people can live in – and since herbivore, with *relative* safety. The question the is, is the relation symbiotic or parasitic?
Can’t remember title or author, but somewhere out there was a story about giant space worms devouring the biospheres of whole planets. When they came to Earth, we used nukes to blast holes in their skins, then colonized them. We lost the Earth, but gained interstellar rides.
Oddly enough, the space worms were allergic to salt water, so the sea-dome cities survived. Or maybe that bit was from a different story.
Be careful. Certain people, and I only use that word since I don’t know specifically which species they wish to be identified as, might consider the phrase “unusual size” to be veg-shaming.
I’m off to lunch: a ham sandwich with a giant pickle on the side.
What about the HOUS?
??
Herbivores of unusual size.
Oh, no one really believes in them … AGH!!
