You can click on each image and get a full-blown version. You might also want to check your device settings. On every device we check the comic, it’s shadows, except for shots of the sky which are black (and supposed to be).

Are you viewing on a phone? I have to adjust the saturation levels up a smidge with every “dark” comic to make it look okay on my Kindle tablet. But not too much so it looks wrong on my computer monitor. The only reason it’s as bright as it us (no streetlights!) is that the moon is waxing gibbous right now)
As I told Glyph, “darkness” is kicking my backside. When I get home, I’ll post a version behind a cut line that’s one smidge brighter still. It’d be a kindness if you let me know how visibly “legible” the comic becomes.
They watch the Doob Tube,for those impaired by overuse of a common weed, or whose brains have been scrambled the same way by the Tube. Is the reality show “Night of the Quizzy Tors”, by any chance?

The lower version is noticeably brighter, like it is closer to dawn.
I don’t have a problem seeing either one on the screen of a Chromebook.
