Hmmm… Either there is something under that floorboard or Rory keeps on absentmindedly trampling a squeaky toy for an unusually small carnivore underfoot. or quizzer has embraced the power of *and* for this scene.
It’s just a regular squeaky floorboard. We have one in our kitchen. The ‘pacers’ in our household step on it every day. There’s nothing under there. Honest. I mean, why would you suspect anything? Can’t Mondays comic come soon enough? And then next Friday?
We’re getting to the Hat comic. *Everyone* will like the Hat comic. Except Boomers. But… yeah…
Oh, wait, ignore all of the above and insert ‘spoilers’ instead…
That’s ridiculous. Pit’s Shack is much too small. Codex has to draw it using a set of miniature golf pencils and writes the text balloons using 4-point font. Then we “blow it up” using a proprietary add-on in a Photoshop clone so it appears large enough for the viewers on whatever screen they view it on.
Perhaps two armored divisions of fleas could fit under there, but certainly not marmots or squirrels or whatever sane vegetables fear the most.

And then the floor squeak is repaired by Rory, trapping two armored divisions in the basement.
I did try talking to a mouse once, but I couldn’t squeak its language.

Oh c’mon. It’s at least 7. Maybe 6 point font.
