That’s at least a $64k question… which I can’t answer. We’ll just have to see how Kit’s story unfolds.

The longer answer may involve a phrase like this, as a guess: “… we need one in every generation. It’s unfortunate, but you’re the one in yours.”
It’s a nice puzzle to think about, and I enjoy the way this comes out
