It’s a Snapdragon Pod, a fictional seed pod from a real plant.

We have snapdragons growing as slightly tender perennials. The flower spikes are pretty. The fictional seedpods for Churchi must serve two purposes – propulsion away from the bearing plant, and self-mulching with chipped munk.
