Open mouth, insert… well does the egg HAVE a foot?

You see, we have to prop him up in a certain way in order to produce the comic strip. It’s a proprietary method, but we jokingly refer to it as “gunk”. This is why you rarely see the feet of the characters.
So, to make your comment *technically* correct, it’d be “Open mouth, insert gunk.”
Explains a lot, doesn’t it?
