Kate is a cartoon unicorn. The drawing is almost life-like, hence your error is understandable.

As Quizzer explained, cartoon physiology. The concern would be more for the infamous crocagator, meanest animal in the world, with the head of a crocodile on end and the head of an alligator on the other. With a head on each ends, how does it excrete you might well ask. Well, see, that’s why it’s so mean.
