The Mrs.: Let’s you, me, and the boys (both Pugsley and The Boy were there) go out for brunch.
Me, being tone deaf on Sunday Morning, forgetting entirely it was Mother’s Day: “Nah.”
The Mrs.: Fine.
Yet, she still keeps me around.

That’s what expensive make-up presents are for. I suggest bullets or gas, but if you’re really serious you could hide a 2×4 under the covers on her side of the bed. Surprise!
